Something I Can Do

年末からパソコンが壊れたり、日本へ帰国していたり、学校が忙しかったり、少し面倒くさかったりで更新が滞っていたこのブログ。

久しぶりの更新のきっかけがこういう形になってしまうのは悲しいことですが、居ても立っても居られないので書いてみることにしました。

まず初めに、東日本大震災の被災者の方々に心よりお悔やみ申し上げます。　皆様の安全とまだ行方のわからない方々の一刻も早くの救出を心から願っています。
そして悲劇の真ん中にいる人たちへ、そこでも意味をなくさない何かを届けられたらと思う一心です。

こういう時に、こういう時だからこそ感じる世界の一体感。　なんだやっぱり世界はひとつだったのか、と思わせてくれる瞬間。　
こんな時だけじゃなく、いつもそう思える世界だったらどんなに素晴らしいだろう。　
あ、でもこの感覚は当たり前にしてしまうには少し勿体無いか。

最近思う。

一度日本の外へ出ると知る世界の小ささ。
人と出会う度に世界中で起きてるいろいろな事が他人事じゃなくなっていく。
大切な人が増えるごとに心配事も増えていくけど、見てみたい未来も増えていく。
それはきっと目の色や肌の色、信心
そういった細かい物を取り除いたすべての人、共通の思い。

できるだけたくさんの人が大切な人と共に生きる未来を描けるように。
今、自分に出来ることはなんだろう。

在り来たりあけど募金かな。

This blog has not been updating for a while because of my laziness, my computer was broken, I was in Japan, and too much school stuff.

The sad thing is I updated this blog because of the earthquake in Japan. I pray for people in Japan that nothing will happen anymore and their safe.

I feel the world is one this time..wait, because of this time and we are in this situation, I feel this world is one?
Anyway, this world is one at this moment.

How come it cannot be always like this?
But it good to feel that I can feel this only once in a while.
This world is little bit too shy to show that we all love each other.

Lately, I feel like,

I knew how small this world is once I came out of my country.
I saw people and I knew them and I love them.
Since then, the things happening in the world became not only their things.
Number of worries and the number of futures I want to see are increasing according to the number of people I love.

I think this is a common wish of people, it does not matter the color of eyes, skins, belief whatever something complicated.

I wish as many people as possible can draw their future with their love.
Is there anything I can do?

坂本龍一 Ryuichi Sakamoto

もう既に先々週の日曜日（１０月２４日）になってしまいますが、坂本龍一のコンサートを見に行ってきました。

そう坂本教授です。生で見るのは今回が初めてだったのでもうテンションダダ上がりでした　笑

やはりセットは一番最近のピアノアレンジのアルバムからでした。

いやーしかし、全体を通してのコンサートの完成度の高さに驚きました。会場が埋まりしばらくしてからゆっくりと照明が落ちました。この時はまだ、なんとなく話し声などでざわついていました。その中に一つ、これってそう？　みたいな小さな音が流れていたので、一緒に見に行った友達とこの音を少し追いかけてみることにてしばらくその音を追っていると、案の定、その音に更に音が乗りその時にステージ上の照明も消え一気に教授の創る世界に引き込まれた感じでした。

しばらくはその音とステージ上に映し出された映像との掛け合いに魅了されていると、なんと！もう既に教授、ピアノを弾いてるじゃあーりませんか！！いつ出てきたのか全くわかりませんでしたが、坂本龍一のコンサートは、この人を見に来るのではなく、この人の創る世界に浸りに来るもんなんだと感じました。

今回が生は初めてなので、その都度コンセプトは違うかもしれませんが、今回のそれはまさしくそうだと思います　笑　目を閉じていると座っているシートの底に滑り落ちて、なんだかすっごくさらさらするところを滑ってるような流れているようなそんな感じでした　笑　

 あともう一つ思ったのは、この人は観客を眠りに落とそうとしてんじゃないんだろーかということです　笑　というのは、会場全体の雰囲気がものすごーーくリラックスしていて、スクリーンに映し出されている映像もなんだか優しい感じのもので、そんでもってステージ上が大分暗い！　笑　でも今回の曲のアレンジから推測すると、客が演奏中に寝てしまうっていうのはある意味このコンサートの成功を指すんではないかなんて事を考えながら少しウトウトしていました　笑　

でも想像してみたらちょっとかっこいいよね、観客がみんな寝てしまってるところで満足気にピアノ弾いてる坂本龍一。　笑

後半はピアノをもう一台使い少しだけ今までよりも躍動感のある演奏を披露してくれました。この時はステージも少し明るくなり、教授を見てるぜ！って感じでこれもまたいい感じでした。二台目のピアノなんですが、あれはプログラミングで動いてるんですかね？　勝手に鍵盤が動いててなんだか見ていて不思議な気分になりました　笑

アンコールにも答えてくれて、最後はスタンディングオベーションで幕を閉じました。

初めての教授、とてもよかったです。帰りは雨が降ってましたが、すばらしい演奏を聴いた後だったので、ノリでもう一つテンションを上げて楽しく雨の中帰りました　笑

October 24^th on Sunday at the Queen Elizabeth Theater. 

It’s already more than a week ago now; blame my laziness of writing lol

So, I went to see Ryuichi Sakamoto on 24^th of October. It was first time to see him at live for me. I was really excited about this night. The show started around 8pm or what ever. 

The lights have dropped, but nothing was going on, so people are still kind of chatting at this time, then I just realized very quiet sound. So my friend and I were following that sound for a while. Next moment, another sound overrode on that sound and at the same time the lights on the stage were dropped as well. We were in the dark with sound and movie on the screen at the back of the stage.

So, we were already in the world of which Ryuichi Sakamoto created. If you closed your eyes at this time, you can feel like falling down to the deep in the seat and sliding or flowing something really smooth… that’s what I felt anyway lol 

the songs were from his latest album “playing the piano.” So it was a solo piano component show with two pianos. It was really quiet sound for a while with movie on the screen and darkness. Then we suddenly realized Ryuichi Sakamoto was already on the stage!! Lol at this moment, I thought his show is not coming to see him playing; his show is coming to indulge in world of Ryuichi Sakamoto. I don’t know about other time, but this time I think that’s what I thought it was lol beginning of his show was really relaxing and dreaming. I bet he was trying to make crowd sleep lol

Actually, it can be a concept of this album and tour because his arrangement of songs on this album is one of the slowest and quiet arrangement ever. And isn’t it cool that all the crowds fell down to sleep and in front of them he is playing the piano with satisfaction? 

Second half of the show the lights on the stage were up and he played little more danceable tunes with two pianos as an ensemble. This second piano was amazing but kind of weird to see lol I’m not familiar about technology kind of things, but I think he was programming second piano part and ensemble with that. Am I right? Lol

His show was really organized and comfortable. I really enjoyed. His show was ended with standing ovation, and amazing atmosphere. And my night was ended with rain and jerk chicken. It was taste terrific. My ears, my stomach, and my brain...Hahaha Everything was really filled up this night lol

First Aid Kit

I already had no idea what to write here lol
so I decided to write about the shows I've been for first topic. just because of it's easy.

It was a last Friday(Oct 15th) at the El mocanbo.

I went to see the first Aid Kit are a folk duo composed of sisters from Sweden. I knew them through the fleet Foxes' cover on YouTube.
The video of their cover of Fleet Foxes was amazing, two girls are singing Tiger Mountain Peasant Song in a forest with beautiful voices and harmony. I was really impressed when I saw this video.
A few weeks ago, I reached their myspace and found they are coming to Toronto in couple of weeks by chance lol
The show was amazing! They had a technical problem (their auto harp didn't work) at the beginning, but they had an another auto harp, so everything was fine lol and it was really tight set.
Through the whole show, the atmosphere was great. It was so cozy and relaxing but still has energy with some punk sounds from upstairs lol  Yes, their show itself has good energy for sure, and they are good at joking around on the stage. They change the silly things into the funny things.
I felt really good and happy after they played. 
The tunes are amazing.
They played good cover songs include Fleet Foxes which was beautiful cover!
And they showed us their hidden hip-hop skills at the end of the show lol

I'm really looking forward to seeing them again.

とりあえず、いきなり書くことが思いつかなかったらこの間見に行ったライブのレヴューを書く事にしました。このブログで書くトピックの一つになると思うから・・・よろしく　笑

先週の金曜日に見て来たのはFirst Aid Kit っていうスウェーデン出身の姉妹のフォークデュオ。　
このバンドのことは前にFlee Foxesのカバーをしている画像をたまたま友達がユーチューブで見つけたのが知るきっかけで、この間たまたまマイスペースをみたら、なんと！もうすぐトロントに来るっていうんで、とりあえず見に行ってきました　笑　このカバーがすげーいいから、暇だったらそこのリンクから飛んで行って聞いてみて。

いやーいいライブだった。
最初に楽器がならないトラブルがあったけど、それも生ライブの一興　笑　全体的にやんわりとしたならもノリのあるいいライブでした。
結構喋れるっぽく曲の間のかるいＭＣも楽しかった　笑
途中、上の階からのパンクミュージックを気にしながらも、それも笑いに変えてとてもいいセットでした。　
カバーも何曲かやり最後には即興のラップも披露してくれました　笑







また次に見に行くのが楽しみなバンドです。　

本当は写真も撮ったんだけど、全部ブレてたんで今回は載せません　笑　その内載せれる様に写真の撮り方でも練習してみますん。
なので今回はリンクだけで。
