After witnessing the disaster of Japan’s earthquake and the following crisis in nuclear plants, we are drawn to start thinking about the use of nuclear power, and possible alternatives to it. As the staring point of this debate, a series of posters visualising ‘the number of nuclear reactors in the world’ and ‘how much energy we should save if we don’t use nuclear power’.
Merely arguing against nuclear energy supply is not enough, as a change of our life style, a possible alternative energy supply and the effects on the environments should all be taken into account. The aim is to establish the society that prevents any further serious environmental damage and unnecessary energy consumption.
