The Verify project employs AI upscaling tools to enlarge each small photo to a scale where the AI’s ‘imagination’ becomes the focal point. By pushing the upscaling process beyond its limits, the resulting prints blend photographic accuracy with AI-generated fiction, with minimal human intervention. While rooted in photography, the final images present a surreal deviation from the mundane authenticity of Google Street View.
