Whirlwind 21

 Version:1.45

Description: A clone of a web-based game, Whirlwind 21 is a solitaire version of blackjack played with 5 piles. Add cards to each pile to make 21 and score points. The game ends when you cannot place a card without exceeding 21.

GlucoComm

Version:1.2

History:

This is a program to retrieve data from Accu-Chek Glucose meters. It has been tested with an Accu-chek Active and a Compact, and it should work with other Accu-Check models with an Infrared Port. It will likely not work on other brands of glucose meters.

The current version synchs all records on the device, and allows you to export them to a comma seperated values (CSV) that most spreadsheet programs can open. Pocket Excel support via copy and paste.

Shell Extensions

Version: OpenWith 0.1, SendTo TBA

Description: Several useful extensions to the file explorer are missing on the PocketPC when compared to the desktop version. OpenWith adds a context menu when you tap and hold on a file that when selected allows you to choose a different application to launch a document with.

SendTo (Coming Soon!) adds a menu item to send the file to a different location without having to cut and paste.

x50mix (x50 Series Only)

Version: 0.10

Description: Emulamer over on Aximsite discovered how to alter the settings for the Dell Axim x50 series' hardware equalizer. He made his first version and released the source. Some people wanted to have the ability to select different profiles for if they were using headphones or the built-in speaker. I grabbed the code and added the profiles. After that, he and I went back and forth adding features, until you have the program you see here.

Playlist Editor

Version:1.7 Updated

Description: Windows Media Player 10 was a nice improvement so that users could play purchased music on their PocketPCs, but WMP10 itself lacks some features.

Perhaps the most annoying of these (aside from the button mapping problems) is the inability to create and save playlists on the device. Playlist Editor was designed to import your files into a playlist format that WMP10 can play: ASX. Version 1.2 adds the ability to load and save M3U and PLS playlists as well.

PocketNester (x50v Only)

Version: 0.8beta (5/02/05)

Description: The best NES emulator for PocketPC but with support for improved rendering on the x50v, even without the GAPI tweak.

I got annoyed at the screen refresh problems after loading and saving a game, so this version handles that better. It runs at a full 60fps with sound. However, it no longer supports windowed mode in this version.

GSPlayer

Version: 2.25 VGA

History: The original GSPlayer (http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA032810/) is pixel doubled under WM2003SE on VGA devices and thus looks worse than a program of its caliber should. I've taken the latest version's sources and added VGA buttons, and fixed the text to no longer be blurry.
