Crucial 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR5-4800 SODIMM Memory Kit Review

Memory by stefan @ 2024-04-28 read/post comments()

After a rather long initial boot time for training purposes, our Lenovo Legion Pro 5 16IRX8 laptop loaded Windows OS successfully and the test results were surprisingly good overall, in many cases exceeding the performance of the previously tested Silicon Power kit. The capacity is the main highlight for the Crucial DDR5-4800 64GB SODIMM kit, allowing for complicated and memory-intensive processes to be ran at the same time, such as virtual machines, encoding and rendering tasks and so on. read more

GravaStar Sirius P5 Combo Earphones Review

Audio/Others by stefan @ 2024-04-21 read/post comments(0)

After connecting the Sirius P5 set to our Samsung S24 smartphone, we started listening to various TV shows via Plex, YouTube videos but also listened to some music: the earphones sound really good, with an impressive amount of bass for such small drivers, while the voices are delivered with clarity. The capacitive controls on each earbud do allow actions such as answering phone calls, audio track skipping, play/pause, volume control or we can also activate the voice assistant. If we are playing games, there is also a mode which minimizes latency to about 48ms, which is great! read more

Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 Review

Memory by stefan @ 2024-04-18 read/post comments(0)

The new Pro Series Overclocking kits from Crucial do function with tighter timings for obtaining a better performance overall versus the regular SKUs. Thoroughly tested for both Intel and AMD platforms, these can be considered as plug-and-play, by only activating the necessary XMP/EXPO profile; if the platform we are using is not exactly mainstream-to-high-end, we can still utilize the kits with the compatibility profiles, which is great! read more

CHERRY KC 200 MX Mechanical Keyboard Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2024-04-14 read/post comments(0)

KC 200 MX is a pleasure to type on when used for productivity featuring MX2A SILENT RED switches, an upgraded version of the MX Reds, while keeping the noise at a minimum. We are dealing with a standard layout in terms of keys, with only four extra over the numeric pad, which take care of volume controls but also for opening the most used app, Calculator. The keyboard also comes with anti-ghosting and N-key rollover capabilities, while the key legends are laser-etched for additional durability. read more

AQIRYS LIBERTAS Gaming Keyboard Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2024-04-07 read/post comments(0)

Right after starting typing on this keyboard, we noted that it is unusually silent versus many other keyboard models we have tested in the past, thanks to the vibration/noise dampening of the chassis but also the custom switches themselves! The 47 gF force needed for actuation is really pleasant for both gaming and work scenarios, making this keyboard ideal for use in environments where other people are working along with you such as offices or when working from home. read more

Silicon Power 2x16GB DDR5 4800MHz CL40 SODIMM Memory Kit Review

Memory by stefan @ 2024-04-03 read/post comments(0)

By installing the Silicon Power 2x16GB DDR5 4800MHz CL40 SODIMM memory kit, the bottleneck regarding capacity has disappeared and because of this we have also noted a small bump in performance in most benchmarks. Since the disk swapping when running games disappeared due to enough memory quantity, we have also observed a small improvement on the thermals as well. read more
